Dr.Liena Hačatrjana is a Senior researcher and Assistant professor at the University of Latvia, Department of Psychology. Her research topics are focused mainly on the fields of Cognitive psychology and Educational psychology, including interdisciplinary research. Her latest research projects include topics of assessing students’ problem-solving skills, self-management and self-regulated learning skills, academic achievement and cognitive abilities, conducting interdisciplinary research on thinking and reasoning skills, development and adaptation of tests of cognitive abilities, as well as research focused on youth in rural areas.
