Assistant Professor Laura Pirsko, Dr. psych., teaches courses on child developmental disorders, psychotherapy with children, parent group management, and leads supervised practice. Has obtained a professional certificate of a family psychotherapist, obtained a certificate in Systemic Supervision, also works as a psychologist and supervisor at the Centre against Violence "Dardedze", conducts seminars for teachers, orphanage educators, police officers, judges, etc., on working with children who have suffered from violence. He is the Chairman of the Board of the Latvian Association of Clinical Psychologists and the Chairman of the Board of the Latvian Association of Psychologists.
